We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on dealreaper.com to understand how people use the site. GA4 collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, session length, device type, and general location.

GA4 uses cookies to track sessions. We use this data only to understand site usage and improve the site.

2. Contact Form Data

If you contact us through the website contact form, we collect your email address and any name you include.

Contact form submissions are processed through Formspree. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry.

We do not share contact form submissions with third parties or use them for marketing unless you clearly opt in.

3. Email List / Newsletter Signup

If you submit your email through our signup form, you are added to the Deal Reaper email list.

We use that email to send product updates and other relevant information. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Email signup submissions are processed through Formspree.

4. Sneaker Price Tracker Email Gate

The free sneaker resale price tracker at dealreaper.com/sneaker-resale-price-tracker allows 2 free uses.

After 2 uses, an email address is required to continue. We collect that email to manage access to the free tool.

We may also use that email to send relevant product updates, and you can opt out at any time.

5. Tawk.to Live Chat

We use Tawk.to to provide live chat support on the website. Tawk.to may collect chat content and basic device/session information.

5. Deal Reaper iOS App — Data Collection

The Deal Reaper iOS app does not require an account, email address, or login to use core features. For certain features — including Radar alerts and optional leaderboard participation — the app generates and stores a random device identifier (UUID) locally on your device. The same identifier may be used to associate saved Radar alerts, notification preferences, and push tokens on Deal Reaper servers.

This device identifier is not tied to your name, email, or Apple ID unless you separately provide contact information (for example, through the website contact form or email signup).

6. Radar — Server-Stored Data

If you use Radar in the iOS app, Deal Reaper stores the following on Supabase-hosted servers to operate alerts, digests, and notifications:

• Device identifier — associates alerts, digests, and push registration with your device
• Saved alert filters — your chosen search criteria (marketplace, condition, size, keywords, SKU, profit thresholds, and related settings)
• Push notification token — Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token for delivering alerts
• Notification frequency — Live, Daily Digest, or Off
• Match and digest history — operational records when alerts match listings, including listing snapshots at match time

You can pause, edit, or delete saved alerts in the app and change notification frequency or turn notifications off entirely. Alert filters may contain user-chosen keywords or SKUs you enter; we do not treat those as personal identity information by default.

7. Portfolio Leaderboard Data

The Portfolio Leaderboard is fully opt-in. If you never join, no leaderboard data is shared from your device.

When you opt in, Deal Reaper stores the following on Supabase-hosted servers to operate rankings and badge milestones:

• Public username — chosen at join; permanent and visible to all app users on the leaderboard
• Aggregated portfolio stats — total market value (USD), total gain (USD), and item count from daily snapshots
• Device identifier — the same anonymous UUID used for Radar, linking your leaderboard profile and snapshots
• Opt-in status — whether you remain on the leaderboard

Snapshots upload once per day while you remain opted in. Your username cannot be changed after first join. Leaving the leaderboard removes your public presence; historical snapshots may remain in the database but are excluded from ranking views when opted_in is false.

What is not shared: individual shoe SKUs, sizes, conditions, purchase prices, email, real name, or Apple ID.

8. Push Notifications

Radar push notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service (APNs). You can set notification frequency to Live, Daily Digest, or Off in the app, or disable notifications for Deal Reaper in iOS Settings.

Push payloads include digest metadata (such as a digest identifier and notification type) — not a full account profile. Carrier or data charges from your mobile provider may apply. We do not guarantee delivery of every notification.

9. Third-Party Marketplace Links

When you tap a Radar listing in the app or on the public Radar sample page at dealreaper.com/radar, you leave Deal Reaper and open an external marketplace (for example, eBay). That marketplace's privacy policy and terms govern any data collected during your visit and any purchase you make there. Deal Reaper does not process marketplace transactions.

11. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the website, app features, and communications, including:

• Google Analytics (website usage)
• Formspree (contact and email signup forms)
• Tawk.to (live chat)
• Supabase (database hosting for Radar alerts, digests, Portfolio Leaderboard snapshots, and related app data)
• Apple Push Notification service (Radar alert delivery)
• PostHog (product analytics in the iOS app, including Radar-related events)

12. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information submitted through the website.

• HTTPS encryption for all website communication
• Secure handling of form submissions through our service providers
• Access limited to team members who need it for support or operations

13. Children's Privacy

Deal Reaper is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

14. Your Choices

• You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
• You can choose not to use the contact form or signup form
• You can use Google's Analytics opt-out tool for GA4 tracking
• You can delete Radar alerts or turn off push notifications in the iOS app
• You can leave the Portfolio Leaderboard anytime from Settings in the iOS app

15. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold.
